We travel to Southern, IL during this special season when this area turns into a Colorful l landscape. Arrive at the GIANT CITY VISITORS CENTER. To view a film relative to how this area was developed. Nearby is the historic GIANT CITY LODGE, built in 1934 as a product of the CCCorps. Hard working young men who were members of this Corps, helped develop this beautiful State Park. Enjoy a bountiful family-style meal served at the lodge. Later we travel the back roads to Rendleman’s Orchard to their Country Store filled with apples, preserves and locally grown products. Come along with Tradewinds for a special AUTUMN TIME in SOUTHERN, ILLINOIS.
