August 7, Sunday, Day 1…Depart for your flight into ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, known as the “Land of the Midnight Sun.” Shuttle service to your hotel. Meet your sort and become acquainted with your property, located in the bustling downtown area. Note the wide streets and all the beautiful hanging baskets of blooming flowers.

August 8, Monday, Day 2… A day of touring ANCHORAGE, the largest Alaska city. Visit the Log Cabin Visitor Center and Resolution Park to see the Captain Cook Monument as well as Ship Creek Viewpoint which overlooks Cook Inlet. We visit the Alaska Naive Heritage Center which features inter-active displays and exhibits. Here, you will explore the rich cultural history of Anchorage through guides in traditional dress who perform activities such as basketry, dance, boat making and beadwork in the model lakeside village. Tonight, dinner is at the Snow Goose for your enjoyment Included: Breakfast. Dinner

August 9. Tuesday, Day 3...We begin our day with a visit to the ALASKA WILDLIFE CONSERVATION CENTER a heaven for orphaned or injured Alaskan wildlife. Later we take the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel to the town of Whittier and board the KLONDIKE EXPRESS, a high-speed catamaran for an unforgettable cruise of PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND. The sheltered waters of the /sound offer excellent wildlife viewing. Enjoy lunch while taking to some of the most spectacular scenery in Alaska, including the 26 glaciers which line College and Harriman fjords. This ha been a spectacular day enjoying this area. August 10, Wednesday, Day 4…Our day begins with a stop at the IDITAROD DOG RACE HEADQUARTERS located in WASILLA. We then make our way along the Parks Highway to the DENALI area. Sample some Alaskan cuisine at Cabin night where you enjoy an all you-can-eat Alaska dinner. Then sit back for a hilarious show of tall tales, fun songs and foot-stomping music. August 11, Thursday, Day 5…Today we meet our local guide to enjoy and informative full-day tundra Wildness Tour that travels more than 50 miles into DENALI NATIONAL PARK and weather permitting you will see North America’s tallest mountain. You will learn about the history and geology of this national treasure. Bring your camera to capture the incredible scenery. Be on the lookout for caribou, moose, grizzlies, wolves and Dall sheep that inhabit the park. Included: Breakfast, Box lunch

August 12, Friday, Day 6…Breakfast a morning is at your leisure or you may choose an optional tour, such as a leisurely float trip down on the Nenana River. In the afternoon board THE ALASKA RAILROAD TRAIN for your journey to the historic town of FAIRBANKA. You may catch a glimpse of Mt.McKinley and the rest of the Alaska Range setting. August 13, Saturday, Day 7…After breakfast we cast off aboard the RIVERBOAT DISCOVERY, the authentic sternwheeler in Alaska. Your narrated cruise takes you to Old Chena Village where native Alaskan guides show the culture and lifestyle of the original Alaskans. This is a wonderful tour experience. In the afternoon you may choose to take an optional tour to Eldorado Gold Camp and take a chance at panning for some gold. Dinner this evening is a all-you-dab-eat feast o grilled salmon, prime rib or deep-fried halibut and cod. Afterwards enjoy humorous skits and songs about early Fairbanks in the Palace Theater production, Golden Heart Review Included: Dinner

August 14, Sunday, 8…Today we say good-bye to Alaska the land of mountain peaks, mighty rivers and spectacular glaciers . Shuttle to airport in Anchorage
